Today's Sanshin and Dance Lesson: Hatuma Bushi

Hatuma Bushi is one of my favorite dance.

The music is fun yet one of the most difficult dances 

among zo odori of Okinawa.

I will be performing Hatuma Bushi at 
the Japanese Lantern Lighting Festival held 

in St. Paul, Minnesota, on August 23rd.

Prior to the dance lesson, I am practicing the Sanshin and singing the song.

灯篭流し祭りの舞台で

鳩間節を踊ることになりました。

踊りの稽古の前に三線を奏でて歌を謡ってみることにします。
