My vacation is over and I am back to my daily practice 
for dance and music. 

It is too hot to dance but I have to return my regular lessons myself. 

So I decided to practice basic dances including "Kajiyadefu" "Inagu Kuti Bushi" "Hamachidori" "Yotsudake" for worm up. Then I'll dance Nisai Odori "Nubui Kuduchi" "Kudai Kuduchi" "Hatuma Bushi" etc.,

Usually, I dance about 10 dances (mostly classical dances) 

during my regular lessons.

修行荘にこもります。


祖母の形見の浴衣を着てのレッスンです。

とっても涼しい綿の着物。
さすが沖縄オバーが着ていた着物です。

Sunday afternoon 
75 minutes: dance lesson (classic and modern)
45 minutes : singing lesson (Japanese/Okinawan folk songs)

*I will offer free lesson for dressing in kimono. 
*Professional dancers and singers are welcome. 

大和芸能に影響受けている道行きのおどり（七五調口説節）を紹介します。

組踊劇「万歳敵討」場面で演じられる踊り２曲です。

波平大主道行口説

さても移れば変わり行く人の心ぞ浅ましや

いざや最後の出て立ちに

ありし様変え編笠に深く面を隠してぞ

行きば程なく我謝安室

浜に千鳥の友よぶは聞くにつけても

哀れるり登り登りて中城

しばしやすらひ真南見れば故郷の名残りも

有明の月に思いぞ勝るなり

東表を見渡せば波に濡れじの津堅島

降りて渡口の村過ぎて

和仁屋間瀬路に分け入れば急ぎ歩きでもあゆまらぬ　エイ

今ど勝連南風原に急ぎ急いで忍で来る

万歳口説

親の仇を討たんでい万歳姿にうちやつれ棒と杖とに太刀じくで

編笠深く顔かくち忍び忍びに立ち出て村むら里さと越来えば

平良や忍ぶ敵の門兄弟尻目に見過して後ろの道に巡り来て

行末吉の御神に祈る心は我が敵に急ぎ引き合わち賜りてい

登て社壇に顔立てて真南に向いて眺むりば四方の景色は面白や

計伊と慶良間の渡中には海人の釣船浮きつれて沖のかもめと見粉うや

それから下り下り来て　エイ

御寺御門に立ち寄やい休む姿や与所しらぬ
