One On One

I had a private student joined my Saturday's class. 

Here are the photos from my class on Aug. 11.

In the music class (3:30 - 4:45 pm),

 you can learn history of Ryukyu, background of Okinawan music and dance, language,

singing and Sanshin play, etc., 

While you are singing I play Sanshin in the music class. 

In the dance class (5:00-6:15 pm),

you can learn both court (classical) and zo (popular) dances.

Summer in California

Hi, Happy August. 

Today, I would like to show some photos which I've received from our dancing member lives in California. 

I wish I can grow orange tree in my yard and am missing eating Okinawan Goya too, and 

really envy living in CA when I look at these photos.

Shopping At Sam Ash

Today, I went to Sam Ash for shopping.

I was looking for amp for my Sanshin play and really love the store. 

News on lessons and Report on recital

News on lessons:
Hi, I have opened music and dance classes on Saturdays. 

In the dance class, you can take court dance or folk dance lessons or both.

In the music class, you can take just singing lessons of Okinawa minyo (folk song), or learn Sanshin
and other instruments of Okinawan traditional music. 

Here is summer schedule of Okinawan music and dance classes at 

Resobox studio: 41-16 27th Street, Long Island City, New York

 Music (3:30 pm - 4:45 pm) Dance (5:00pm -6:15pm)
