I will perform Okinawan folk songs accompanies myself on Sanshin.

Song: Uchina-, Okinawa Sodachi, Menso-re Uchina-kai, Tsuki nu Kaisha, Asadoya Yunta

うちなー、沖縄育ち、めんそーれうちなーかい、月ぬ美しゃ、安里屋ユンタ

などを演奏し唄います。

Dress Rehearsal and Make Up Lesson

Today, I am doing dress rehearsal for Cherry Blossom stage program. 

This year, I am going to perform a classical dance at the Wang Center and have to practice hard on make up,  hair and dance.

Cherry Blossom Festival in NY

Happy Sunday!

Cherry blossom festivals are coming soon to New York！

I will be joining the White Plains Sakura Matsuri and the Long Island Sakura Matsuri. 

大分暖かくなりました。

辺りでは水仙の花が咲き始めていますが、

桜は、まだ蕾、開花は２週間待ちかな。

でも気も早々と桜祭りのフライヤーご紹介します。

I took dance lessons three times a week, and some Sanshin lessons in NAHA City, then
 went out to three stage performances, and
Karaoke house and music live house several times.

一ヶ月の沖縄の旅を終え昨日ニューヨークに戻りました。
沖縄では
最初の３週間は那覇市内のホテル住まいでもって
踊りと三線の教室に通いつつ
あいた時間は
街中を闊歩しライブハウスに出かけたりショッピングをしたりして過ごしていました。
沖縄料理に関しては、
昔ながらの小さい食堂の料理が一番美味しかったように感じます。
演劇鑑賞は
まず、浦添市の国立小劇場では「恋するシーサー」を、
パレット久茂地の文化センター劇場では
沖縄芝居「愛の雨傘」「狂女の舞」２本立て
そして最終の週は読谷村で過ごし
読谷村文化祭りの一環行事「沖縄古典音楽舞踊公演」を観賞してきました。

一ヶ月の旅もあっという間の出来事でしたが
懐かしい親友や家族などと共に充実した日々を送ることができました。
